Class 158 crossing Dent Head Viaduct
DENT HEAD VIADUCT - 4th April 2000
It's early April and the snow on Baugh Fell provides a wonderful backdrop as a class 158 heads towards Dent on the 09.47 Leeds-Glasgow Central as the line clings to the side of WoldFell. Beneath Baugh Fell lies Garsdale and Dentdale veers off to the left with Rise Hill separating the two.
This is a lovely part of "The Dales" and walking through such a marvellous natural landscape whatever the season with my little terrier "Rosie" is something I treasure.
